can't sleep - thinking of you and givenchy

So I am using this blog to record 'inspirations' - my online journal as it were. I am lying here in bed thinking about all sorts and not sleeping so I thought I may as put this in before I forget!

So this is a piece from Riccardo Tisci's Couture A/W 2010 collection for Givenchy. I'm officially in love with it. The theme behind this whole collection is actually the three passions of Freda Kahlo: religion, anatomy and sensuality.  I love how intricate and beautiful this piece is. It related to the body so well - there's that anatomy theme!- picking out the curves and flowing along and around the lines of the figure. Tastefully accentuating bone structure. 

There'll no doubt be more couture up here soon enough. I've so much to learn.
